Roustika, Profitis Ilias (Prophet Elijah) Monastery
The Prophitis Ilias monastery, south of the village of Roustika, appears in archival sources at the end of the 16th century. The monastery is associated with the Vlastos family, as evidenced by the Vlastos coat of arms from the beginning of the 17th century, incorporated in a newer building. The belfry of the church was constructed in 1637, as indicated by an inscription. The present church (catholicon) was built after 1830. Most of the monastery buildings date from the 19th century.
