The church of Panagia (Virgin Mary) Barotsiani.

Argyroupoli, church of Panagia (Virgin Mary) Barotsiani

The original church of Panagia Barotsiani was built as a single nave barrel vaulted church. It stands out for its carved late Gothic architectural members, especially the arch with the trefoil decorative openings. Fragments of 14th century frescoes are preserved in the eastern part of the church. A small chapel dedicated to Saint Anthony was added to the south side of the original church. In modern times the church was extended to the west.
