Arsani Monastery
The Arsani Monastery was built at the end of the 16th and beginning of the 17th century, according to the morphology of the architectural remains and the written sources. The present catholicon was built at the end of the 19th century (1888) to replace the original church. From the original complex survive only the buildings of the north wing, dating from 1645. Old books, gospels, liturgical vestments, sacred vessels and portable icons are kept in the monastery.
