Digital Tour Application

Byzantine and post-Byzantine monuments 

As part of the project, a mobile application was developed, offering a thematic digital tour of selected Byzantine and post-Byzantine monuments.

Through the application, information about the history, architecture, and morphology of more than thirty monuments of interest, including churches and monasteries, is displayed on the visitor's device screen through texts, narratives, and rich photographic material.

The application is available on the Google Play and App Store for Android and iOS software. It can be used both on-site during the visit to the archaeological site using geolocation, as well as remotely. An internet connection is required during the installation of the app and the initial update of the data with multimedia content, but it is not necessary for the use of the app in the archaeological sites.
